Our Story
The idea for importing electric motor cross bikes came about one evening at a family gathering while sitting around the fire. We wanted to bring in this awesome bike for everyone to experience and to give access to adventure enthusiasts.
It’s a perfect combination between motor cross and mountain bikes, it has the power of a motor cross bike and is quite so it gives to access to a wide option of terrains. The whole concept just sounded RAD!” And that was the start of this family run business.

We want to build a solid brand and national network to be able to supply and service the bikes and create a culture.

Passionate outdoor enthusiast, loves fun stuff, like Kite surfing and snowboarding and now electric dirt BIKES has been added to the adventure list.
Bridget Hingst
I am in this field quite by accident. However, being surrounded by boys and their bikes, I am not surprised. Someone was needed to herd the hooligans.
My aim is to build a strong electric dirt bike community, so whether I’m up to my armpits in spares, at the track, or helping customers, I believe in working hard, getting my hands dirty, and leading by example. I enjoy solving problems, taking on new challenges, and being involved in every part of the journey.
For me, it’s about more than just machines. It’s about the people, the experiences, and the passion that brings us together.
Malcolm Scott
Anything on wheels has been my passion for as long as I can remember. From rebuilding VWs—I have a collection of these old guys, for my sins—to working with the South African team at the Dakar Rally, motorsport has always been a huge part of my life. Being involved in Dakar remains one of the highlights of my career.
On weekends, you’ll usually find me at Zwartkops Raceway, a car show, or, more recently, at the bike tracks. I’m a petrolhead at heart, but I have to admit the Surron electric bike is an incredible machine. It’s a completely different riding experience, but an awesome one all the same.
While Surron bikes require very little maintenance, we’ve repaired our fair share of them after they’ve been crashed. Whether it’s a classic VW, a race car, or an electric dirt bike, I enjoy getting machines back to doing what they were built for.
